The Sacramento Business Journal today reported on our brewery in progress, writing:
A Placer County entrepreneur plans to open a brewery and tasting room on his farm property in Newcastle.
The project will center on a 2,000-square-foot barn at 5100 Virginiatown Road, according to owner Patric Hillenbrand. The business, called Hillenbrand Farmhaus Brewery, is expected to open within a year.
Hillenbrand will use farm-grown ingredients, such as figs and peaches, in his beers. He plans to offer up to seven taps with a wide variety of selections, including sours, stouts and a grapefruit IPA.
We are thrilled to see notice of our project making the internet rounds. We expect more of this in the future!
